About this event
The Burnaby Central Railway is a unique 1/8 scale, ride-on miniature railway operated by volunteers. Located in Confederation Park, the railway features multiple cars carrying passengers on a scenic two-mile outdoor ride through woods, bridges, and tunnels. The steam engines are true miniatures, huffing and puffing just like their full-size counterparts, alongside battery-electric and diesel locomotives. It is a perfect destination for family fun, offering rides that last approximately 10 minutes each. Visitors can also explore the Garden Railway, one of the largest Gauge 1 garden railways in Greater Vancouver.
